As someone who loves and craves quiet and connection, there is space in the circle for all that.
I appreciate Naomi's openness to experience, to my experience, and to listening when I needed to talk about some of the initial challenges I felt and faced as a new participant. That made me feel safe, supported, and welcome, and it encouraged me to come back. It allowed me to find my place there and to feel free to express myself and to be my self, fully. I like the way we introduce ourselves at the beginning; it helps set the tone and creates a sense of connection and intentionality to our being together. I like the sense of affirmation that I feel on both a personal and collective human/ life level. ~Polly C~ What made me initially interested in Chattanoogoa Singing Circle was how the songs were so relatable. What inspired me most was just how Naomi used every little thing to bring out her passion! What made me continue is how Naomi manages to get people of different backgrounds and experiences to come together in such a beautiful way. My experience with the group is one that I will carry with me for the rest of my life!! ~Princess W~ I love to sing...anytime, anywhere, yet I rarely have the opportunity to do so in community. I was thrilled to discover the Chattanooga Singing Circle to finally be able to join my voice with others in a welcoming environment. The experience was nothing but joyful. After a few minutes of singing guided by Naomi's gentle cues, it was if we had all known each other for a long time. Our voices began to harmonize, our bodies began to move and the corners of our mouths lifted. My experience was positive and energizing. I felt that I was part of something much bigger than myself! Singing is a language that melts distance. Through song, I am able to connect with the people I love both near and far, with those suffering from injustice and with people celebrating life in every corner of the world. ~Susan L~ Private and Corporate EventsCustom Designed for gatherings from retreats to baby showers to teambuilding events, Naomi will curate particular songs for your unique occasion.

Chattanooga and Knoxville Singing Circles connect area residents to their voices, breath, and each other through community singing!
Designed for singers of all experience levels, these community singing events will explore and expand your natural voice and build a stronger sense of connection with others in the process. Incorporating mindfulness, improvisation, singing, rhythm, authentic self-expression, and fun, these playgrounds for song will introduce you to new songs from a variety of traditions and are designed to provide opportunities to go deeper into our understanding of and appreciation for both the songs and ourselves. Singers of all levels are welcome as songs are all taught in the oral tradition.
